KVC Lined Plug Valves bodies are manufactured in WCB, CF8M, CF8 or any special material requirements. The plug is also encapsulated in PFA providing maximum corrosion resistance. The seat area is far greater than that of comparable ball valve assuring bubble tight shut off. The seal is assured both up and down stream independent of the line pressure. There is no need to replace seats, the valve can be re-seated whilst inline by a quick and easy stem adjustment.
The PFA lined Plug Valve mainly used for aggressive medium in chemical plants, such as sulfuric acid plant, Hypochlorous acid, Hydrochloric acid, Sodium hydroxide etc.
